We create collections to last generation on generation. This is possible because linen is one of the most durable fabric. Treated with respect and care it will last more than a lifetime. We know this and our grandparents and great grandparents also already knew this far before cotton conquered the world and the linen-closet. Besides that, linen itself is an environmentally-friendly fabric, as it requires fewer resources to grow and process than for instance cotton. Cotton needs a lot of irrigation to grow whereas flax needs nothing at all, because it grows in regions where the soil is sufficient and the rainfall is enough. Our Dutch supplier selects the highest quality seeds for each crop, and produces flax with respect for the environment which involves no irrigation, no GMO and most importantly no waste. Our flax is woven to linen on special machinery to weave very refined threads and make our linen into the softest linen and highest quality possible.
